I will start this off by saying that the first thing I did after trying this out is retiring my old pull-up bar. I had one of the traditional ones which was made from steel tubes that was rigid and took up a ton of space, this one on the other hand folds up and can be stowed in about three inches of space.
If you live in a dorm, a studio, apartment, etc., or in general just don’t like clutter, this is a great investment. It’s solidly made, does everything that a traditional chin-up/pull-up bar does, and is relatively affordable.
I would happily recommend this bar, and I can say that after a few months of use, it’s held up rather well. I will update this review if I notice anything failing in the coming months, I use it every other day so it gets a decent amount of use.

I’ve owned about 5 different models of door frame exercisers and let me caution you – not every door is the same size, and especially doors inside your home, even if they appear to be. So measure before ordering and save yourself some frustration later.
The unit was all together and just needs folded out. Pretty basic, simple design. It cushions where it needs to and will support quite a bit of weight. I’m a 320lb man and it holds me nicely. The grips are comfortable but I’m sure with extended use they will wear down, so be ready with some gloves. Also, take note of how tall you are and where the item hangs on door frame. I’m 6’ and I have ordered another that I really had to pull my legs up to do a pull up. That’s bothersome, so just measure. You’ll be glad you did.
Good quality bar. Would recommend 👍

I bought this with the full intention of working my way up to doing a pull-up. I was really impressed with the ability of being able to fold the hanging parts in. They swing in a 180 degree motion and lock into place very securely.
Make sure the door you are intending to use this on has trim around it because this hangs on the trim as well as being supported by the sides of the door frame. If you don’t have a lip for the bar to hang on, you won’t be able to use it on that door.
The metal (aluminum?) is very sturdy. I weigh about 200 lbs, and after, gingerly, hanging all of my weight on the bar, I felt confident that the bar and the doorway would support my weight. It’s a little bit of a practice in patience and faith, but once it is in place and the plastic feet are making contact on the side of the doorway, then it’s secure.
Really, the biggest draw is that you can fold it flat as an ironing board and stow it away. I really didn’t want to advertise the fact that I was attempting to do pull-ups for fear of friends and family wanting to make a competition out of everything. Overall, seems like it’ll get the job done!

I love this door gym. I don’t just use this for chin-ups, but also for leg raises and core work. It is very sturdy and super easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend this over some of the other designs out there. I can’t wait to get my abs back!

I have been using the Multi-Grip Pull up Bar for Doorway for about a month now and I am really happy with it. It is a great way to work out your back and it is very easy to use.
The bar is very sturdy and it fits securely in my doorway. I have tried it with different width doorways and it has never slipped or wobbled. The bar is also very adjustable, so I can find the perfect grip for my back.
I have been doing pull-ups, chin-ups, and dips on the bar and I have already seen a difference in my back. My back is getting stronger and it is starting to look more toned. I am really happy with the results so far.
I would definitely recommend the Multi-Grip Pull up Bar to anyone who is looking for a great way to work out their back. It is a great value for the price and it is very easy to use.
